Using the internet

We are excited to be launching a new project that helps older people access information through the internet and using digital technology (smart phones, tablets, laptops and computer).

We will be running a range of activities that include regular clubs where older people can learn together and share information, drop-in sessions for help with technical issues, and one-to-one support at home.

Sessions will focus on what older people want to know – whether it’s how to do their shopping online, register with their GP, get WiFi on their phone, or look up a train timetable. Participants will learn how to use the internet to do the things they want to do, and will feel more confident using digital technology.

Participants can either learn on their own devices, or we can provide tablets that can be borrowed during the sessions.

Further information about the project and details about the services we will be offering will be available soon. To find out more in the meantime, please contact us by emailing or phone 0330 380 1013.
