Hoarding Workshops for Professionals
We’re pleased to be offering hoarding workshops for professionals supporting people with hoarding behaviour, as part of our new training and capacity-building programme.
On 17 June, join us for an insightful and engaging in-person workshop facilitated by our Senior Decluttering Practitioner who has extensive frontline experience of supporting people with hoarding behaviour in Hackney and surrounding boroughs in north east London.
When: Wednesday 17 June 2026
Time: 10.30am to 4pm
Where: Marie Lloyd Centre, 329 Queensbridge Road, London E8 3LA.
Cost: £75 plus VAT per participant (£90 including VAT). Book here via Eventbrite.
Participants will be expected to contribute to discussions, consider new ideas, draw on critical thinking, and reflect on their work. We'll dive into practical approaches, research, and talk about real-world strategies to support individuals struggling with hoarding. It's a great chance to learn, connect with peers, and build your confidence in effectively supporting people who hoard.
We hope and expect that participants will come from a range of sectors including social care, mental health, housing, environmental health and the voluntary sector, which should make for a varied and rich discussion.
If you have any questions about the workshops or other training and development opportunities we offer around hoarding support, please get in touch at makingroom@mrsindependentliving.org.
