Hoarding Awareness Week 2026

Are you someone who struggles with the level of clutter in your home or a professional who works with individuals who do?

As part of Hoarding Awareness Week 2026, we invite you to join one of the three 1-hour virtual seminars we’re hosting online on Wednesday 13 May 2026.

The seminars are open to individuals who have concerns about their own or someone else’s hoarding, or professionals who want to start their learning journey.

We’ll be offering perspectives on our work with people who live with severe clutter, and touch on different approaches to supporting people whose hoarding presents a risk to themselves and others.

There are 12 places available in each seminar. Limiting the numbers will provide attendees with an opportunity to ask questions and take a closer look at the issues they face.

All three seminars will be delivered by our Senior Decluttering Practitioner who has extensive frontline experience of supporting people to manage and reduce clutter, and achieve long-lasting behaviour change.

The seminars will be taking place on Wednesday 13 May at:

  • 10.30am

  • 1pm

  • 3pm

The structure will be the same each time, but the discussions will vary depending on who’s in the room. You only need to attend one seminar.

If you’d like to book a seminar place, please email us at makingroom@mrsindependentliving.org to receive the meeting link.
