    Charlotte is a highly dedicated Lead Postural Stability Instructor at MRS Independent Living, boasting over 15 years of experience. She plays a pivotal role in helping older individuals reduce fall risks, maintain mobility, and independence through Staying Steady classes and one-to-one Otago home-based exercises.

    Her extensive qualifications in the Feldenkrais Method®, Mindfulness (Breathworks), Pilates, Postural Stability Instruction, and Otago Exercise Leader highlight her holistic health approach. Charlotte's emphasis on raising movement awareness, reducing tension, and creating an inclusive learning environment aligns with the principles of the Feldenkrais Method®.

    Her Shoreditch and Homerton-based Feldenkrais practice offers numerous benefits, from injury recovery to improved posture, making it especially valuable for those with neurological disorders or balance concerns.

    Charlotte's commitment to professional development, including courses in Developmental Trauma Foundation and Compassionate Inquiry, a trauma-informed psychotherapeutic approach developed by Gabor Mate, underscores her dedication to top-quality care and staying updated in her field.

    Martin Thompson

    I am a specialist personal trainer, sports therapist and fitness/postural stability instructor for special populations which includes older people, stroke survivors, cardiac and cancer patients and people with disabilities.

    I have been in fitness/physical activity for over 24 years. Primarily working in the community and for local councils and often concentrating on helping the local community to be more active through behaviour change.

    I have pretty much worked out on a daily basis for nearly 50 years.

    I am a fully qualified, insured and experienced personal trainer based in South London. I have worked in the fitness industry for twenty years. During those years I have gained additional qualifications which allow me to work with a broad range of clients. These include: Cardiac rehabilitation, GP referral, postural stability (falls prevention) and ARNI (rehabilitation after neurological injury – stroke).

    I began my journey in movement during my childhood, in the Arkansas State Ballet Co. My further education includes a BA in Dance from Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas and the London School of Contemporary Dance.

    I began my career as a fitness instructor, in London, in 1978 ( in the early days of aerobics). After 25 years, including teaching aerobics, and 5 years delivering exercise and relaxation to mental health inpatients at the Royal Free Hospital, I became a member of a team delivering physical activity on referral for cardiac rehab, postural stability, osteoporosis, diabetes, COPD, mental health and obesity patients.

    My qualifications include: Exercise to music for the older adult, GP Referral, BACPR, PSI, gym level 2, Pilates mat-based, Disabilities, Otago, Level 4 non-specific lower back pain.

    Other qualifications include: Pink Ribbon breast cancer rehab, first aid and CPR
